The Heart Behind Cultivate

Cultivate Movement & Mindfulness was created by Karen Towne with one simple goal — to help people feel stronger, happier and more connected through movement.What began as a passion for dance and wellbeing has grown into a supportive Sunshine Coast community where people of all ages and experience levels can move without judgement, build confidence and genuinely enjoy exercise.At Cultivate, it’s not just about fitness. It’s about creating a space where you feel welcomed, supported and inspired every time you walk through the doors.Whether you’re here for dance fitness, strength, ballet or connection, our classes are designed to help you feel good both physically and mentally.

At Cultivate Movement & Mindfulness, our classes are designed to help you feel strong, energised and confident through a balanced mix of cardio, strength, toning and mindful movement.

We pride ourselves on creating a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome — whether you’re completely new to fitness or have years of experience. With exercise modifications and options available throughout every class, you can move at your own pace and tailor each workout to suit your individual goals, fitness level and abilities.
